This surf school package, with accommodation in our Tamarindo surf house is dedicated to those who have never tried surfing and wanting to learn basic techniques with a simple and extremely entertaining wave from the start; or for those who already tried and want technical support to improve their first maneuvers, such as take-offs, surfing the green wall and bottom turns, with qualified instructors who will be able to transmit you the authentic "pura Vida Surf Style". Including the the Canopy Tour (exploration of a forest hanging from ropes!!!) and 2 tours in paradisiacal beaches!
Costa Rica is considered as "the Switzerland of Central America" for the policy of peace that has always been adopted. There are no revolutions, in fact, the standard of living is among the highest in Central America. There is no military army but only standard police. Costarican people are extremely simple and lovely people, typical of Latin culture.
Waves are constant throughout the year and there are spots for all levels, from beginner to pro surfer!

∧ How to get there:
Costa Rica is easily accessible with international flights landing at San Jose International Airport (SJO). The surf camp is located about 5 hours by car. We recommend taking a domestic flight to the Tamarindo tourist airport, 10 minutes from the camp by car; Or to Liberia Airport at 1 hour from the camp by car.

∧ From the airport:
Rental car: We recommend renting a car to drive around Costa Rica. Taxy: Getting to the surf camp by taxy is quick and easy. Public Transports: Getting around with public transport in Costa Rica is pretty easy, there are buses connecting Tamarindo to the different airports.
∧ Health Care and Visa:
Most nationalities do NOT need a special visa to go to Costa Rica (90 days on arrival). It is recommended to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. Public and private hospital facilities have good standard level, however, we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance.
