FIJI SURF RESORT

Our Surf Resort has been designed by award winning Architect, Paul Uhlmann, a surfer from the Gold Coast, Australia.  The accommodation has been designed to achieve the integration of the natural landscape with the living area.  There are large amounts of glass and louvres that allow the cool sea breezes to ventilate the units.  Ceiling fans, ensuite bathrooms and a large deck area are features that make the simple designs a pleasure to stay in and only a few steps from the ocean.

The accommodation bures are tucked between a creek at the rear of the building and coconut palms, exotic flowers and plants at the front, then the beach. If you are there at the right time you will be able to pluck a ripe paw paw from the tree near your bure.  A large variety of fruit trees are scattered around the resort.

Each bure is divided into 2 separate accommodation areas with their own en suite.  The room is tastefully furnished with a king size bed (or 2 king singles), mosquito net for that tropical feel, a coffee table and relaxing chairs.  All rooms are screened.  The large deck and vast expanses of glass gives each unit breathtaking views of the beach and rainforest, even from the toilet!

The resort restaurant offers an eclectic fusion of Fijian, Indian and contemporary dishes using only the freshest ingredients.  We strive at being a sustainable restaurant by using  fruits grown from around the property depending on the season, vegetables cultivated in the local villages and fresh Yellowfin Tuna and Mahi Mahi from the daily catches brought in at Suva harbor. 

The Restaurant and Bar has been designed with the intention of maximizing the view of the coral fringed lagoon, whether you are enjoying fresh Trevalley cooked in coconut cream or a Matanivusi Mai Tai.  The ‘Dua Tali’ Bar (the ‘One Moore Bar’ – named in honour of a great friend – Marcus Moore) is a full service bar with a wide variety of tropical concoctions for your delight.  The Bar also has a selection of wine and beers, along with a full range of spirits and liqueurs.  If you are looking for something a little more romantic you can have a candle lit dinner on your private deck as the ocean waves serenade the sun to sleep or under the giant Baka (Banyan) tree.

ROOMS

Each Fijian-style bungalow has 2 private bedrooms, which can become interconnecting, in the case of a large family. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, hot and cold water, privacy and direct access to the beach and lagoon ... as well as a King size bed or 2 large single beds. We can also add a third bed.

The resort's bar and restaurant offers a wide variety of meals, with fresh local products...and alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, made with fresh fruit and more...WIFI available in this area!
