SURFING IN DAKHLA

The Dakhla Peninsula has several fantastic surf spots. Thanks to its exposure, it receives swells from different directions and the wind is almost always off shore on the point breaks in the area. The best season to find waves of quality and size goes from September to April, while the powerful North Atlantic storms travel south, but it is not rare to find smaller but fun waves from May to August.

SPOTS DAKHLA AREA

Foum El Bouir This excellent point break is right in front of our surf resort. It is a very long right with sections also tubing, on sand bottom. Wave suitable for all levels.

Pointe de l'or Beach break, a few km from the resort, accessible only by 4x4 vehicles. Right and left waves, suitable for all levels.

La Sarga Point break of excellent quality, with endless right hander waves, often tubing. Offshore with any wind from the north.
