GUIDE & INSTRUCTOR LORENZO CASTAGNA

Graduated at the "Maria Montessori" language school in Marina di Carrara, Italy, he speaks fluent English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
He started surfing in 1994 and after a few years he was passionate about surf competitions and surf travel around the world. Among the most significant are: Hawaii, France, Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands, Maldives, Morocco, Australia, America, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia.
SURF SCHOOL
Lorenzo has been a surfing instructor since 2002.
He has opened the first surf school in Liguria, Italy (the Bench surf school) and was a collaborator of O'neill surf Academy in Ostia, Itly, as a translator and instructor.
Since some years the project has moved to Sardinia, precisely to BUGGERRU with the surf camp project.
The Camp hosts an average of 250 students annually from all over the world and has become a reference point for the training of the best Italian athletes.

He also participated in the European Championships in 2004, 2005, 2008, 2012
And, with the Italian national team,
The Huntington Beach World Championships and at the European Championships for Nations in Costa de Caparica, Portugal, in 2005, and the European Championships for Nations in Morocco in 2016.

Currently Lorenzo is supported by: ION, Rt Surfboards, Soulridercamp.com/SurfCamp.it Tour Operator and Stefano Atzori Tattoo.
For the ION brand, it also plays the role of Team Manager for the Italian surfing team.
During these years he has collaborated with brands such as Protest, Vans, Skull Candy, DC, Holy Drink, o'neill, dvs, 55 dsl, Nixon, Fcs, Ezekiel, Island style.
